Who is my number one? Don't need to guess. It's Ting Wen!!!! Yesterday was her 19th birthday and let me tell you what I did for her.

I have prepared four presents for her this year. I planned all of these since the day I received my birthday present from her last year. Yes, a long time ago. Somehow I couldn't get satisfied by everything so I kept editing and changing the plans for so many times! It's hard to buy her present you know since she has everything she wants and for the things in her going-to-get-it list, I believe they must be something expensive that I still couldn't afford to buy them yet. So in the end I give her my true heart, my honesty, my trust!!!

One bag couldn't fix in all the presents and I need two bags!!

This are the presents I gave her which have been numbered as they need to be opened in the order. There are descriptions behind the label cards as well. I just don't like the design for Number 3. I was running out of ideas already how to decorate it...

Present 1 - a scarf

Present 2 - a jacket

Present 3 - a CD with 18 songs that I wanna share with her and a video that I made.

Present 4 - a scrapbook ( 10 full pages + one half page of words)

I didn't take any photos for the first two presents. Anyway, the most troublesome one will be number 3 for me. I faced a lot of problems when doing it. Actually I planned to put the video and songs into a pendrive for her. This would be easier for me since I'm a NOOB in computer stuffs. But I think my lappy is having problems or the new pendrive? Whatever copied from my lappy into the pendrive cannot be played properly. The video get stuck on the halfway, all the songs can only be played for a few seconds only. I tried many times to solve it but still the same. I was so down and wanted to cry already. I want everything to be perfect. My eyes were teary. My brother helped a lot for this one. In the end, I asked him to help me to burn it into a CD. It was a bit last minute so I don't have much time to think for the cover of the CD. I just simply decorate it. I did it on Tuesday (the last day).

This is how it looks like. I seriously like that two pics of us I don't know why... There are short descriptions behind the cover with the 18 songs' title in them as well. Somehow I think I'm most satisfied with this present! Maybe because this is the first time I did such things? I mean yeah, this is my first video!! I never made a video before. I have to learn it myself, trying to figure it out what to do and so on... I spent about 9 hours just in making it. I remember I started to work at 9PM one night and finished it the next morning around 7.30AM. I bathed and rest for a while in between. It was really tiring!!!

Okay, now let me show you the scrapbook. This is the main present I guess? It would be better if I have time to make a box to put it inside. It was a bit hard to wrap it.

Actually it was not in my planning to decorate the inside with photos and so on but it just went on naturally. In the end, TA-DA!!!! It looks nice for me!!! Yes, at least for me! Mum and brother gave me some opinions about the cover as well when I can't really decide what to do. To put this here or there?

My drafts for the scrapbook. I wrote it days before I started to work on everything. I wrote it whenever I have idea and when I thought of something. But I still miss out some of the things to write I guess?

I slept at around 3 or 4AM on Monday night and forced myself to wake up early the next day to continue. It was the last day to finish everything. The most hardcore day!!! I started at 9AM and only finished it at around 5AM in the next morning. I have no time to eat and bath! Wen's birthday clashed with my house cleaning for the coming Chinese New Year and also the Belia thing. That's why I don't have much time. I was being so stressed about everything. That's the real reason why I was so stressed people!!! Sorry for lying. I don't want to let wen knows that I was preparing something for her. Anyway, my tummy was flattened a bit because of this. Hahaha

See all the mess now? I didn't clean it straight after I had done everything. I went to sleep instead because I was mad tired!!!!

My hand was full of glitter, the floor was full of glitter... That time no water supply and I can't even wash it.

Well, that is not all yet. I had to wake up early again on the actual date because I wanna have a surprise visit to wen's house!!!! YES! SURPRISE ATTACK!!! I texted her mother on Tuesday afternoon telling her my plan. I need to know whether wen was going out or not and I need someone to open the gate for me as well. So yeah, everything went well until I reached her house... She saw my car before I went inside her house with the cake on my hands. So disappointed you know after such long planning and just one last step, then it'll be done!!!!

However, wen never expected for my surprises. She never thought of it and didn't suspect anything. She said she was shocked for a little? She was happy for it! I'm glad to hear that although it's not perfect!

I realized I bought the wrong cake once I got in the car! NO CREAM!!!! I actually wanna splash some cream onto her face after she cut the cake but guess I was too nervous for everything... Thanks to her family for the help though. =)

I wanna thank my brother for helping me a lot. He brought me going here and there to buy this and that, helped to solve some problems of the present and brought me to wen's house again. He gave me confidence for my presents as well. He kept on saying wen is so special to me and I did a lot for her. He said later TOUCHED DIE HER and so on. He has to lie for me also. I told many lies for this. I'm such a liar!!! LOL Anyway, thanks brother!!!! But if you could help me to video the whole process down when going her house, it would be so much better! xD

I spent lots of time in these presents. There's so many things to do. I need photos so I went to her facebook and browsed through all of her photos and albums. Imagine how many is that? I used the whole night for that!!!! I also spent a lot. Too many materials to buy for decorations and so on. It's 3 digits!! I lost count already. Guess these are the best best presents I have ever prepared!!! I'm broke again but luckily new year is coming. =)

I put a lot of efforts in it and I really hope she likes everything I did for her. This year is the first time I celebrated her birthday with her!!! She treated us dinner at Kaizen later at night with many friends. We went to kbox after that. The day was too awesome for me and I really hope it will never end... I was so damn tired and exhausted last night but I was reluctant to sleep at all. I was a little emo as well and she knows why...

p/s : I have tried my best not to miss out anything and I hope I didn't. That's all!
