I went to miri to attend my cousin's wedding on Thursday. It was a bit different from here. We do not need to wait for long. It ended at around 9pm. Fast right? After that my family and i stayed overnight at the hotel there. Nothing much to write about. Pictures will upload next time i guess as they are not with me now. =)
Yesterday was my 2nd brother's wedding. He departed to pick up my sister-in-law at 6am so we all have to wake up early. However, i did not sleep the previous day as i was busy doing my manicure until 3am like that. xD Anyway my brother was back at around 10.30am and after that they have some pictures taking inside the room. Followed by that was "tea time". In Chinese---敬茶.There were so many people and my living room is not really big enough. Everyone started to sweat that time. ahaha Unfortunately, me as the sister, also have to serve my 2nd brother and sister-in-law the tea. It is my first time. My heartbeat became so fast and i was hell so nervous. hahah but i got 2 angpau then. hehehe
The ceremony was held at bandar. So after lunch time, i straight away went to prepare. We departed at around 3pm. We went to the centrepoint hotel to find my brother first. After my sister came, we all went to the ballroom to standby. Sister and i were in charge of the reception. 3rd brother had nothing to do and joined us. It was cold there. I was freezing the all way round.
The ceremony bagan at 8pm and i sat on d main table with my parents. Woohoo!! But it was not that fun. I was being served like a princess... so not comfortable and it was kinda boring. The opening ceremony is special. They welcomed the bride and groom with several pops. After that, they cut the cake. Until the middle of the ceremony, my brother and sister-in-law went to change their wedding outfits. Champagne time the next. My brother have given a short speech then. It was a bit touched and honestly, i almost cry but i didn't. Weird right? I also have no idea what's wrong with me that time. haha anyway, groom and bride gave a hug to both parents. =)
Ceremony ended at around 10.30pm and we had photos taking. *fun* haha and since it was late already so we stayed a night at the hotel. The next morning (today morning), we went back after having breakfast! That's all. Some pictures here.
